preschool & daycare visits

If your child attends preschool or daycare, we often include their learning environment in their Consultation. More often than not, challenges are occurring across these environments. If it is determined that there is a need for support in the classroom, weekly visits are provided by an educator in your child's preschool or daycare class. We work with the existing team to provide strategies, resources and materials to be used within the daily classroom routine. By providing strategies in the classroom, we are able to assist with transitions, peer interactions, following directions and reducing interfering behaviors.

Many children who benefit from this program are on the verge of being removed from their classrooms due to challenging behaviors. Working closely with their teachers/providers to effectively  manage these behaviors helps create  a positive learning environment where your child will succeed.
